Meet Barry Battle, our Managing Director.

Barry started Event Bars in 2004 and since then the company has grown from strength to strength. He now splits his time between our four depots, Dublin, Galway, Cork and Sligo and is always on the go. When asked about his favourite project or venture, he says:

“My favourite time of year is definitely Race Week in Galway in July and that Bank Holiday weekend, as we would always have 5 or 6 wedding set-ups nationwide as well as all the bars we install for the Races.

We install all of the external bars and refrigeration for the Clayton Hotel and we also have bars in the G Hotel, the Clybaun Hotel and the Radisson Blu.

It’s a very challenging week for everyone, between the Logistical team and the office staff. Just when we think we have everything down to a “T” someone calls and changes an order or a delivery time and puts everything out of sync!
