• Event bars will require proof of age on delivery of all Goods. Only Garda ID, Passport or Drivers Licence will be accepted by Event bars as sufficient proof that the customer is over 18 years. College / University ID’s are not accepted as valid identification. Event bars  reserves the right to refuse any person at any time whom we suspect to be under age.

• If a problem should arise with any equipment/kegs/bars during the rental period, Event  bars should be contacted immediately on 091 778876 or 087 7777585 (24 hrs). If you choose, for whatever reason, not to contact us when there is an issue, we will not be issuing any refunds.

• If a customer or their guests tamper with any Event bars equipment (“He works in a bar” is a great one!), Event bars are not liable for any incurring faults which may arise. Please, if you are in doubt, call us first.

• Once checked in and signed for, customers are responsible for breakages and lose which will be charged at full replacement costs.

• Any equipment returned damaged will be charged for at full repair/replacement cost.

• When picking up goods from our premises, a cash deposit or valid credit card deposit is required. Once everything is returned intact, deposits are returned.

• Hire periods are for 48 – 72 hours. Longer periods can be arranged.

• Standard delivery / collection times are between 9am – 9pm, Monday – Friday.
Requested delivery or collection outside of these times is subject to additional charges.

• All boxes and packaging supplied with rental equipment must be returned. Glassware racks are charged at a replacement cost of €50.00 each.

• Event bars drivers and employees are not responsible for moving customer’s furniture or property, unless written confirmation is received from the Event bars management.

• All sales and rentals must be paid for in full before leaving our depots. In the event of courier and pallet delivery, goods must be paid for by credit card which is then used as a security deposit. For larger home delivery orders, a % deposit will be taken on confirmation of the order with the outstanding due on delivery. A fee of €30.00 is applied to any cheques that are returned to Event Bars due to insufficient funds or badly written cheques.

• Glassware does not have to be returned clean, as we professionally clean all our glasses after each letting. However, please do empty all glasses of any foreign objects including cigarette butts, napkins, bottle caps, food, beverages and wildlife.

• Ice is supplied ready frozen in 2kg bags.

• The rental of draught keg equipment includes the following quantities of gas:

  • Single unit – 2 kegs
  • Double unit – 3 kegs
  • Treble unit – 4 kegs

• The following goods are consumables only and are not for returning:  plastic pint glasses, plastic ½ pint glasses and ice.

• Banquet bars are made from solid wood and assembled on site by a member of the event bars staff. Banquet bar units and Steelite bar units are for delivery only, no collection.

• All kegs / bottles / cases must be paid for in full if split or opened. Soiled or damaged cases must also be paid for in full as they cannot be re-sold by Event Bars.

• The Sale or return option is only available on large quantities of drinks. The offer of sale or return to clients is entirely at the discretion of Event bars management.

• Event bars , do not / will not operate cash bars, unless furnished with written confirmation from a clients legal representative that an on licence has been officially transferred, through a court of law, to the said venue for the said date.

• By renting from Event Bars, these terms and conditions are automatically accepted by the customer.

• Additional charges may apply for certain conditions of rentals/payments:

  1. Bad cheques – A €30.00 fee will be charged for all returned cheques. This includes insufficient funds, badly written signatures or wrong dates.
  2. Credit card payments – All orders over €1000.00 being paid for by credit card will incur a €20.00 handling fee. This is because it costs us 2.2% of the invoice total. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE PAYMENTS WITH DEBIT CARD.
  3. Breakages – All barware glassware breakages are charged at €0.75c each while wine/champagne are charged at €1.10 each.
  4. Weekend delivery – Our delivery days are Monday through til Friday. Deliveries on weekend days incur a €25.00 surcharge.
